David Andersson (born December 25, 1981 in Falun ) is a Swedish orienteer and ski orienteer .

In 2000 and 2001 Andersson started at the Junior World Championships and took places in the front field. With the Swedish relay he even managed to win a silver and a bronze medal. It was not until 2005, however, before he made his breakthrough among the seniors. That year he was Swedish runner-up in the sprint and fourth in the world championship in the middle distance. At the 2007 World Cup, he was middle distance fifth and silver medalist with the relay. At the Nordic Championships in 2007, he won silver over the medium and long distance. In 2010 he won the multi-day O-rings. In 2011 he was third in his last World Cup participation with the relay.

In 2000 he became junior runner-up world champion on the short distance in orienteering skiing, and in 2001 junior world champion. In 2004 he was fourth with the Swedish season at the World Cup of Active.

David Andersson is in a relationship with orienteer Lena Eliasson . He lives in Falun and starts for Malungs OK Skogsmårdarn .
