David Belda García (born March 18, 1983 in Cocentaina ) is a former Spanish road cyclist.

Athletic career

David Belda began his career in the elite in 2007. In 2009 he won a stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a León and its overall ranking. After recording a few stage wins in 2010 and 2011, he won the Vuelta a Castilla y León in 2014 as well as two stages of the two stages Volta a Portugal , and he was ninth on the Tour of Qinghai Lake . In 2015 he won a stage of the Rhône-Alpes Isère Tour as well as the overall ranking of the Tour des Pays de Savoie . In 2016, he finished ninth on the Tour of Austria .

In December 2017, David Belda tested positive for EPO and banned for four years. The 34-year-old then ended his cycling career at the end of 2017.
