Fuerteventura Canarias

Fuerteventura-Canarias was a Spanish cycling team .

Fuerteventura-Canarias was founded in 2007 as a Professional Continental Team and mainly takes part in races of the UCI Europe Tour . The manager is Jorge Sastre, who is assisted by Oscar Guerrero, Juan Martínez and Antonio Llopis as sporting directors . The team came under fire because with Vicente Ballester , David Bernabéu , José Adrián Bonilla , Manuel Lloret , David Muñoz and Javier Cherro, six drivers involved in the Fuentes doping scandal drove in the team. The team was considered the unofficial successor team of Kelme and Comunidad Valenciana . In the 2008 season, the team was no longer registered with the Union Cycliste Internationale and has since been active as a national team.
