David Blanco
David Blanco Rodriguez (born March 3, 1975 in Santiago de Compostela ) is a former Spanish cyclist .
Athletic career
David Blanco began his career in 2000 with the Portuguese cycling team Paredes Rota dos Moveis . He celebrated his first success in 2003 when he won a stage at the Grande Prémio CTT Correios de Portugal . When he first took part in the Vuelta a España in 2004, he was tenth overall, and the following year he was 13. Four times - in 2006 , 2008, 2010 and 2012 - he won the Tour of Portugal .
In the summer of 2006, Blancos was named in connection with the doping scandal Fuentes , like most of his teammates, but without legal consequences.
