David Casa

David Casa (born November 16, 1968 in Valletta , Malta ) is a Maltese politician and member of the European Parliament .

Life

He is a member of the Nationalist Party of Malta , which is part of the European People's Party . He also sits on the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Fisheries Committee of the European Parliament .

Casa is also a deputy in the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety , a member of the delegation in the EU-Bulgaria Joint Parliamentary Committee and a deputy delegation in the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee .

• 1990: Personal Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs
• 1995: Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister
• 1998: Member of the Council of the Maltese Trade Union Federation (CMTU)
• 1998: Personal Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs
• 2003: Executive Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• 2004: Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Maltese Parliament (July)
• 2001: Founder and General Secretary of the "Yes to Europe" movement (February)
