David Doherty
David Doherty (* around 1950 ) is a Northern Irish badminton player .
Career
David Doherty was the first national champion in Ireland in 1972, where he was successful in men's doubles with Clifford McIlwaine. Two other joint title wins followed in 1973 and 1974. In 1974 he took part in the British Commonwealth Games.
