David Walker (journalist)

David Edward Walker (born May 21, 1941 in Edgewater (New Jersey) ) is an American journalist and news anchor.

Walker started at WESH-TV in Orlando, Florida . He then went to Sacramento to work at KOVR and KCRA in the 1970s . In 1980, after his wedding to Lois Hart in 1979, they both went to CNN for the first-ever news on June 1, 1980. Walker joined CNBC in 1989. In 1990, Walker and Hart decided to go back to Sacramento for KCRA 3, where they hosted the evening news until 2008.

On November 26, 2008, Walker and Hart retired from KCRA.
