Dawid Abramowitsch Tyschler ( Russian Давид Абрамович Тышлер ; born July 13, 1927 in Cherson ; † June 7, 2014 ) was a Soviet saber fencer .

successes

In 1955, Tyschler achieved bronze with the Saber team at the World Championships in Rome . At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he won bronze with the team. In 1957 in Paris and 1958 in Philadelphia he won silver with the team at the World Championships, and in 1958 also silver in the individual competition. In 1959 at the World Championships in Budapest , the team got bronze with him. His last major international appearance as an active player was at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome , where Tyschler took seventh place in the individual. He took part in the 1960 Olympic Games as a coach for the Soviet team.
