Dawid Bieńkowski (2008)

Dawid Bieńkowski (born May 5, 1963 in Warsaw ) is a Polish prose writer . He is the son of the poet and literary critic Zbigniew Bieńkowski and the poet Małgorzata Hillar .

Life

Bieńkowski attended high school in Warsaw, where he graduated from high school in 1982. He then studied psychology at the University of Warsaw , where he obtained his master's degree in 1988 . After graduating, he worked as a psychotherapist. As a writer he made his debut in 2001 with the novel Jest , for which he was awarded the Kościelski Prize in 2003.

He lives in Warsaw.
