David Fyodorowitsch Tuchmanow
Dawid Fjodorowitsch Tuchmanow ( Russian Давид Фёдорович Тухманов ; born July 20, 1940 in Moscow ) is a Russian composer of Russian light music .
Life
Tuchmanov's father is an Armenian of noble origin.
In 1975 his album По волне моей памяти ( On the wave of my memory ) was released, which he composed for poems by classical poets. Also worth mentioning is the song День Победы ( Victory Day ), which was released in the same year.
Dawid Tuchmanow lived temporarily in Germany during the 1990s .
Awards
Dawid Tuchmanow holds the title Народный Артист России ( People's Artist of Russia ).
