John DeChancie
John DeChancie (* 3. August 1946 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American fantasy - author .
DeChancie became famous, among other things, with the Castle series, which has not yet been translated into German . In terms of the cover design and the blurb, the series can be assigned to the genre of Funny Fantasy .
The Castle series is highly praised by various fantasy authors and in some cases compared to Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams .
