De Brakke Hond (Flemish: "The good dog") is a Dutch-language magazine for literature in the Flemish- speaking area founded in 1983 .

According to its name, the magazine ironically describes itself as the "magazine for dog lovers":

"De Brakke Hond is geen tijdschrift voor hondenliefhebbers the zich interests voor hondenvoeding, hondenverzorging, puppies en hondenvakanties, het bevat 100% literatuur."
