De Distilleerketel ( German Der Distillierkessel ) is a tower windmill built in 1986 in what is now (since 1886) the Rotterdam district of Delfshaven , Netherlands , in its port area, originally the port of the city of Delft 14 km north until 1811. It is the successor mill to the May 1940 after Artillery fire burned down the predecessor mill of the same name from 1727 to 1940.

Delfhaven owned eight town mills in the 19th century, the majority of which supplied the seven malt houses and 31 distilleries with malt. For a real-looking old town, at least one of the imposing windmills should be rebuilt, and so the local council decided to build the new Distilleerketel . The new mill is a grain and malt mill and was rebuilt in 1986 because of a nearby apartment house building 11 m away from the old location. The empty stump of the old mill had recently been removed.
On the green, white decorative board of the windmill it says in Latin :
„1727-1940 MULTUORUM CIVIUM OPERA RESURREXI AD MCMLXXXVI“
in German translation:
„1727-1940 DURCH VIELER BÜRGER ARBEIT BIN ICH IM JAHRE DES HERREN 1986 WIEDERERSTANDEN“
The previous mill, which burned down and rebuilt in 1899, was a malt mill and in operation until 1922. It was shut down and slowly fell into disrepair, but when it was set on fire in 1940 during the war it remained in ruins. She ground malt into grist for the local distilleries.

The gallery tower windmill (ndl. Ronde stenen stellingmolen; ronde stenen bovenkruier (Obenkrüher)) "De Distilleerketel" is a typical Dutch town mill with a very high mill tower (~ 25 m). The gallery is 10 meters high, the cape ridge at around 25 meters. The cap, covered with inverted planks, runs on 44 iron rollers between the two iron ring profiles, and a loose Flemish brake (Vlaamse vang) with four blocks is attached to the comb wheel with 60 combs (teeth) . The flight (diameter) of the wing cross is 27.90 meters. It has seven floors (ndl. Zolders) and two grinding courses . The large grain windmill is turned (cranked), as is almost exclusively the case in the Netherlands, from the outside (Dutch: buitenkruier) via codend and two pairs of Schoren with reel as well as via the Spreet beams running through the cap from the gallery. The mill tower is one meter higher than that of the previous mill with the same base diameter, which gives it a slimmer appearance and allows a larger escape (~ 25 -> 27.6 m). In 2004 a major overhaul was carried out and in 2007 more modern wings with forward stern and airbrakes on the inner rods (Fauël system; ndl. Fokwieken met remkleppen).
