De Hûnekop are a Frisian- speaking band from the Dutch province of Fryslân . The band is extremely successful in their homeland. The group was founded in 2009 in the Frisian provincial capital Ljouwert ( Leeuwarden ). In 2010 the band won the Fryslân Pop Talent Award .
