The listed lighthouse De Ven is located on the dike of the IJsselmeer in the Dutch village of Oosterdijk about four kilometers from Enkhuizen . The tower has a height of 15 meters and a fire height of 17 meters.
history
The tower was built between 1699 and 1700, making it one of the oldest lighthouses in the Netherlands. After a fire in 1819, the tower was repaired. The lighthouse has been a listed building since 1966.
