Decina
The Decina was an Italian measure of grain and commercial weight in the Papal States .
As a volume measure, it was used not only for grain , but also for building lime .
- 1 decine = 210 ½ Parisian cubic inches = 4 1/6 liters
- 2 decines = 1 staro
- 8 decines = 1 quartarello
- 16 decines = 1 fourth
- 32 decines = 1 rubbiatello
- 64 decines = 1 rubio
The second option was the Decina as a commercial weight. These values applied
- 1 decina = 10 libbre = 10 liren (old pound) = 3393 grams
- 10 decines = 1 light or Cantaro piccolo
- 100 decines = 1 heavy or Cantaro grosso
