Dede Dolopei

Dede A. Dolopei is a Liberian human rights activist . She was deputy chairwoman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) to come to terms with the civil war in Liberia.

Dede A. Dolopei studied bookkeeping and management at the University of Liberia ( Bachelor's degree). Her professional area of ​​activity in government administration is planning and urban development with a focus on social affairs, youth and women advancement. She has done a lot for the development of women's and civil rights in Liberia.

Dolopei is consulted by the Liberian government as an advisor on peacebuilding, conflict resolution and psychosocial counseling.

In the Rock Hill Community of Paynesville , a suburb of the capital region Greater Monrovia , Dolopei was involved in the founding of the first section of the Liberia Initiative for Less Fortunate Children LILFOC (German: Liberian Initiative for the Promotion of Disadvantaged Schoolchildren).
