Declaration (lat. Declaratio "proclamation", "revelation") means:
- Indication of the content or value of a commercial or dispatch good, for example for the purpose of customs clearance, see Customs (delivery)
- Ingredient list on food the food labeling regulations according to (official term: the list of ingredients)
- a political declaration (= declaration of will or intent), for example
- in international law, the legal act of an object of international law that is intended to bring a certain fact or attitude to the attention of the international legal community,
- for example a declaration of war
- Declaration (programming) , in programming languages for introducing variables and functions / procedures
- in XML documents the XML declaration and the document type declaration
- In linguistics or pragmatics, a class of speech acts in which a new reality is created if the necessary conditions are met, see Declaratives
