The Delaware State Route 299 ( DE 299 for short ) is a state route in the US state of Delaware that runs in an east-west direction.
The State Route begins on Maryland State Route 282 east of Warwick and ends 15.7 kilometers southeast of Odessa at Mathews Corner on Delaware State Route 9 .

Shortly after the border with Maryland, the DE 299 meets the US Highway 301 , which shares a route with the State Route up to the city limits of Middletown . About halfway through this route, State Route 15 will also cross the route. In the center of the city of Middletown the DE 299 crosses the route of the Norfolk Southern Railway and the Delaware State Route 71 . Between Middletown and Odessa the road meets the Delaware State Route 1 and in the center of the city it meets US Highway 13 . At the southeast end of Odessa, the State Route passes the historic Corbit-Sharp House . After a total of 15.72 kilometers, the road ends on Delaware State Route 9 in Mathews Corner, southeast of Odessa.
