Delilah Rene Luke

Delilah Rene Luke (working name Delilah ) (born February 15, 1960 in Reedsport , Oregon ) is an American author and radio presenter .

Life

According to her own statement, her father put her outside the door after an argument shortly before she graduated from college. In opposition to her father, which she described as racist, Luke married an African American man. Luke has 13 children, including three of his own and 10 adopted children from African countries, and is married to his fourth marriage. She has been producing her show in her private apartment since 1996.

Career

Your talk radio show is broadcast across the US on around 150 radio stations ( Syndicated ) and has around eight million listeners every week. She is under contract with Premiere Networks (iHeartMedia). The content of the broadcast are the stories of calling listeners; the show is designed as a mixture of advice and music.

In 2012 she received the Gracie Award , a prize for influential women in the media. In 2016 she was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
