War memorial Punkewitz

The Punkewitz war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Punkewitz district of the municipality of Mertendorf in Saxony-Anhalt . The memorial is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 83506 as a monument .

The Punkewitz war memorial is a stele on a three-tiered base . The stele is crowned by an iron cross . On three sides of the stele there is a commemorative plaque for those who fell in World War I and World War II .

The war memorial was erected for both those who fell in Punkewitz in the First and Second World Wars and for those who died in Wetterscheidt in World War II.
