Türk Demir Döküm Fabrikaları A.Ş. , abbreviated as Demir Döküm , is a Turkish company founded in 1954 that operates in the fields of heating, water heating and air conditioning and has been a brand of the Vaillant Group since 2007 . The company is one of the leading Turkish manufacturers in the field of heating and air conditioning technology. With a turnover share of around 70 percent, the focus is on the domestic market, although exports are also becoming increasingly important. Today DemirDöküm products are sold in 50 countries in Europe, Asia and North Africa. The company has manufacturing sites in Turkey, China and Algeria. DemirDöküm employed around 2,300 people in 2006 and generated sales of 432 million euros. The company is listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.

At the end of 2005 Demir Döküm acquired the radiator division of the Schäfer Werke in Neunkirchen (Siegerland) with all brand licenses and production lines and integrated them into the Bozüyük plant.

The joint venture company Dongguan Dei Chung Metal Appliances Ltd. produced in China a. a. Oil radiators , hot water radiators , water heaters, boilers.

Until 2007, Demir Döküm (translated "iron casting") belonged to the Turkish industrial conglomerate Koç Group. With effect from October 5, 2007, the Remscheider Vaillant Group took over a total of 78.24 percent of the shares in DemirDöküm. The sellers were the Koç Group, which until then had held 72.56 percent of the shares, and Taylan Holding, which held a 5.68 percent stake in the company. The responsible antitrust authorities have given their unreserved approval to the takeover. The final purchase price for both blocks of shares was EUR 229.5 million. Following the takeover of the British Hepworth Group in 2001, the acquisition of DemirDöküm is the second largest acquisition in the history of the Vaillant Group .

Demir Döküm also invests in research and development. The nanotechnology is currently being observed. In this context, a cooperation agreement was signed in April 2006 with the German company Rabian Energy .
