Bozüyük is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Bilecik . The city is located about 30 kilometers south of the provincial capital Bilecik .
The district is located in the south of the province. It borders in the north on Pazaryeri and the central district, in the northeast on Söğüt and from east to west on the provinces Eskişehir , Kütahya and Bursa . The European route 90 runs through Bozüyük from west to east , which comes from Çanakkale via Bursa and continues via Eskişehir and Adana to the Iraqi border. Here it crosses the D650 trunk road , which runs from Adapazarı in the north via Afyonkarahisar in the south to Antalya on the Mediterranean coast. The Darıdere Dam is located in the south of the district .
In addition to the district town, the district consists of the small town (municipality, Belediye ) Dodurga (2,304 inhabitants) and 44 villages ( Köy ) with an average population of 103 inhabitants, of which Kandilli (332 inhabitants) is the largest.
Infrastructure
In Bozüyük there are production facilities of the air conditioning company Demir Döküm , Eczacıbaşı Holding and the Vaillant Group . The Anadolu Üniversitesi from Eskişehir has a technical college here.
Sports
The district town is represented by the football club Bozüyükspor in the third Turkish league .
