İnhisar is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Bilecik . The city is located about 40 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital Bilecik .
The district is in the east of the province. It borders on Söğüt to the west, Gölpazarı and Yenipazar to the north, and Eskişehir province to the east . In the south of the district are the foothills of the Sündiken Dağları Mountains , through the city flows the Sakarya River , which flows into the Black Sea in the north . West of Inhisar near the village of Koyunlu, the Değirmen Deresi flows into the Sakarya. It flows through the Harmankaya Kanyonu gorge with two waterfalls in the north of the district .
The smallest district in the province consists of the district town (43% of the district population ) and nine villages ( Köy ) with an average of 188 inhabitants. Tarpak is the largest of these with 386 inhabitants.
