Gediminas Mažeika (born March 24, 1978 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian football referee .

Career

Gediminas Mažeika has been a referee in the Lithuanian A Lyga since 2000 . After he was appointed FIFA referee in 2008, he led the friendly match between Belarus and Moldova in Barysaw in June 2009 as the first international match in his career. The following year he took part in the U-19 European Championship in France, where he served as a game master in two preliminary round matches. At the 2013 European Championship for this age group, which took place in his native Lithuania, Mažeika was used in the game between Turkey and Georgia. In 2012 Mažeika whistled the final for the Baltic Cup in Estonia.
