The Democracy Gelişim Partisi ( German Democratic Development Party, DGP for short) was a liberal-conservative party in Turkey . It was founded by İdris Bal , MP for Kütahya , on November 4, 2014 , one year after he left the ruling Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AKP; Party for Justice and Recovery) over the dispute between Gülen and the then Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan .
