Demon (rhetorician)

Demon , son of Demomeles from the Demos Paiania , was a nephew of Demosthenes and a priest of the local Asclepius cult.

Demon was probably identical to the rhetorician Demon, whose extradition in 335 BC. Was demanded by Alexander the great . From Timocles he was in the course of Harpalosskandals accused of corruption.
