Dennis H. Wright

Dennis Howard Wright (born August 11, 1931 ) is a British pathologist.

Wright was a Reader in Pathology at Makerere University College, Kampala , Uganda from 1960 to 1968 and Reader at the University of Birmingham from 1968 to 1972 . From its founding in 1972 until his retirement in 1995, Professor of Pathology at the University of Southampton Medical School.

He dealt with the pathology of the lymph node system and diagnostics of lymph node tumors. He also wrote a book on the pathology of the spleen.

In 1973 he received the Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize . He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and was President of the European Hematopathology Society.
