The menhir Dent de Gargantua ( German  tooth of Gargantua , also called Pierre du Grand Tua) is a menhir on the La Prégaudais farm in the hamlet of Clermont, north of Bourg-des-Comptes , south-southwest of Rennes in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany in France .

The menhir, which is almost 3.4 meters high, is 1.6 meters wide and 1.3 meters thick. It's near the road, but it's covered with ivy.

Gargantua is the name of a mythical giant that François Rabelais (1483–1553) made famous in his cycle of novels Gargantua and Pantagruel in the 16th century. Many menhirs and some dolmens bear his name.
