Tulumba is a department (administrative district) in the northern center of the central Argentine province of Córdoba .

A total of 12,211 people live there on 10,164 km² , which corresponds to approx. 1.2 inhabitants per km². The capital of the department is Villa Tulumba , it is 143 km from the provincial capital Cordoba .
