Deportivo Alavés B is the second team of the Spanish first division club Deportivo Alavés . Alavés B has played in the Tercera División , Group IV since the 2011/12 season .
history
Alavés B was founded in 1960 as Deportivo Alavés Aficionados . In the 1979/80 season they played for the first time in the fourth-rate Tercera División and in the Copa del Rey , in which, however, they failed in the first round at SD Erandio Club . Between 1983 and 1994 you had to play again in the Divisiones Regionales . After five years in the Tercera División you could in the first time in 1999 Segunda División B rise. In the third-highest Spanish division, they played for seven seasons before relegating to the fourth division again in 2006. Between 2009 and 2011 they even played briefly again in the Divisiones Regionales.

Alavés B plays its home games in Ciudad Deportiva José Luis Compañón in Vitoria-Gasteiz, which can hold 2,500 spectators .
