Tetín Depot III
The Custodian III of Tetín (also hoard III of Tetín ) is a hoard of Early Bronze Age Unetice culture of Tetín in Středočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the National Museum in Prague .
Find history
The depot was first mentioned in 1924. The exact date of the find and the circumstances of the find are unknown. The site is located on the northeastern edge of Tetín on a rock spur in the vicinity of the Turecke Mastale cave . This place was inhabited for a long time in prehistory . Two other depot finds ( I and II ) come from here , but they date to the late Bronze Age.
composition
The depot consists of four bronze objects : two reinforced at the longitudinal axis dagger blade and two bilateral , thickened in the central part awls .
