Depot I from Litoměřice
The Depot I Litoměřice (also hoard I Litoměřice ) is a hoard of Early Bronze Age Unetice culture from Litoměřice in Ústecký kraj , Czech Republic . It dates to between 1800 and 1600 BC. The depot is now in the National Museum in Prague .
Find history
The depot was first mentioned in 1897. The circumstances of the find and the exact location are unknown. A second depot is known from Litoměřice , but it dates back to the late Bronze Age. Another Early Bronze Age depot comes from the area around the village .
composition
The depot consists of two bronze, heavy, open oval rings with tapered ends and cross ribs.
