Český Brod depot
The Český Brod depot (also known as the Český Brod hoard ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Český Brod in Středočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the National Museum in Prague .
Find history
The depot was discovered before 1873 on the eastern edge of Český Brod during the construction of sugar factory 4.
composition
The depot consists of four bronze objects , which Václav Moucha classifies as ring bars , while Tilmann Vachta classifies them as eyelet neck rings . The rings have an angular cross-section. Their surfaces show clear traces of machining from a hammer. A ring has a deep groove on its inside.
