Třebovle depot

The Třebovle Depot (also known as the Třebovle hoard ) is a depot of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Třebovle in Středočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. Today the depot is divided between the Kouřim Museum and the Kolín Museum .

Find history

The depot was first mentioned in 1936. The exact date of the find is unknown. It was discovered south of Třebovle during sand mining.

composition

The deposit consists of six bronze objects : a brace bars and five Stabarmringe. The bar is flat on the inside and slightly curved on the outside. The ends are bluntly pointed. The rings have tapered ends. One specimen has an irregular surface. The alloys of the rings have an unusually high proportion of zinc (between 3.5% and 13.54%). The bar and three rings are now in Kouřim, two more rings in Kolín.
