Esther Keller

Esther Keller (* 1984 ) is a Swiss moderator , author and politician ( Green Liberals ).

Life

Esther Keller studied German , history and philosophy at the University of Basel . A wide audience, it was as Telebasel - presenter . Keller worked for the regional broadcaster for eight years as a producer of the news program 7vor7 and the youth magazine Mash. She also worked as an editor and reporter before becoming media spokesperson at Novartis in 2012 .

Keller wrote several books. In 2014, for example, her biography about the gallery owner and art collector Ernst Beyeler was published .

Esther Keller has various voluntary commitments in the fields of culture , business and sport . She is on the board of the Kunsthaus Baselland as well as the Freiwilligen Museumsverein Basel. She is also on the board of the Startup Academy Basel. She is also President of Beachvolley Uptown Basel and, since 2019, Co-President of the NLA volley club Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen.

Keller has been a member of the Basel Grand Council since May 1, 2019 . In autumn 2019, she also ran for the National Council , but did not make it to the election. Keller has been a member of the Green Liberals Basel-Stadt since 2016 . She is a candidate for the government council in the cantonal elections on October 25, 2020.
