Deputation

The deputation designates a delegation or the sending of some members from a committee , a larger assembly, corporation or cooperative to deal with special matters on their behalf .

Hamburg

In the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg , each state authority has deputations attached to the senator as special participation and control bodies of the citizens, consisting of honorary members (deputies) who are elected by the Hamburg citizenship .

Bremen

In the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen , too , the Bremen citizenship can form deputations, which have the character of administrative committees. In addition to members of the citizenship, other citizens elected by the citizenship can also belong to the deputations.
