The bleed. Journal for Art and Culture in Mining is an internationally important German-language mining historical and mining archeological journal. The publisher is the Friends of the German Mining Museum Bochum , the Association of Friends of Art and Culture in Mining eV in Bochum . It appears four times a year, twice of which as a double issue. The total length of all six annual issues is 216 pages.

history

The section has been published since 1947. It essentially contains technical articles on mining history topics, reviews and event information. A color print with explanations on the subject of masterpieces of mining art and culture is enclosed with the magazine as a supplement .

The last issue contains the international bibliography of essays on mining history , in which treatises in other journals or collective publications are recorded.

In addition to the 1000 club members, the magazine is mainly distributed to subscription readers. Because of its high level, the gate is also obtained from numerous academic institutions and libraries.

Dietmar Bleidick is the editor of the bleed. In order to maintain quality, there is a scientific advisory board, which since 2003 has exclusively included external experts. Currently these are Jana Geršlová ( TU Ostrava ) from Ostrava , Karl-Heinz Ludwig from Bremen , Thilo Rehren from London and Wolfhard Weber from Bochum .
