occupation

Der wilde Gärtner is an Austrian television series that was produced in eleven episodes in 2009 based on an idea by the Austrian cabaret artist Roland Düringer . It is a mixture of comedy series and garden magazine.

Each episode consists partly of information - Düringer explains the world of the garden in his role as Orlando Furioso - and partly of entertainment.

The series was only broadcast in Austria in 2011; in other countries like Russia it was seen earlier. In 2010, all episodes appeared on three DVDs, which were sold exclusively in gardeners and flower shops. On March 18, 2011, the complete series was finally released in a box, which can now also be found in DVD stores.

Individual evidence

  1. As a "wild gardener", Düringer does not have too rosy times ( Memento from October 4, 2013 in the Internet Archive )
