The Dera Ghazi Khan Division is a division in the province of Punjab in Pakistan . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Dera Ghazi Khan . At the 2017 census it had a population of 11,014,398 in an area of ​​38,778 km².

history

During the British rule, all the districts that later formed the Dera Ghazi Khan Division together formed a district of the Multan Division . After independence, Dera Ghazi Khan became an independent division. This was abolished in 2000, but restored in 2008.
