Derik Zampedri

Derik Zampedri (born June 17, 1985 in Trento ) is an Italian cyclocross and road cyclist .

Derik Zampedri was the Italian junior cyclocross champion in 2002. The next year he was able to defend his title. From 2004 he drove in the U23 class, where he finished second in the national championship. In the 2005 season he was then also Italian U23 champion in Rovato. He also won a cross race in Fonzaso in 2005. On the road, Zampedri came third in 2006 at the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia , the U23 event of the Lombardy Tour. At the end of the 2008 season, Zampedri drove for the Swiss Professional Continental Team NGC Medical-OTC Industria Porte as a trainee . In 2010 he was tested positive in a doping control and banned for two years.
