Dertli Divani
Dertli Divani , also Dertli Divani Baba , real name Veli Aykut (born January 15, 1962 in the village of Kisas in Sanliurfa ), is a Turkish baglama player, singer and poet from the Anatolian region.
Life
Divani is an active Alevi cleric in the communities in Nurhak and Kisas and is committed to preserving Alevism and its traditions. To do this, he also visits Alevi congregations in Europe that have been scattered as a result of migration.
Intangible cultural heritage
Traditional Alevi music, which is hardly practiced any more, was declared a living world cultural heritage by Unesco in 2010 .
