history

The band was founded in late 2012 by singer Andi Phoenix and former We Butter the Bread with Butter guitarist Iain Duncan. The first EP Sex, Beer & Breakdowns was released in early August 2013 on the Redfield Records label . In 2015 the debut album 030 followed, also on Redfield Records. After the release of their debut album 030 , several tours and festivals followed, including with Papa Roach, Soulfly, Eskimo Callboy, Any Given Day, Emil Bulls, Annisokay or Fearless Vampire Killers as well as a headline tour through Japan. In April 2017, Desasterkids toured Europe with To The Rats and Wolves, Venues and 8Kids as part of the Spring Bangers Tour, which was followed by other tours and festivals, including Tenside, Hacktivist and You Me At Six. In autumn, Desasterkids released the first single Bulletproof for the upcoming album Superhuman , which already indicated the strong musical change into the rock genre. At the beginning of 2018 Desasterkids announced the collaboration with Uncle M Music and the related second single Oxygen , as well as a release date for the second studio album Superhuman in August 2018 and then the first headline tour through Germany in September.
