Desmond Hogan
Desmond Hogan (born December 10, 1950 in Ballinasloe , Ireland ) is an Irish author.
Life
He was born the son of a cloth merchant. After attending school in Ballinasloe, he studied at University College Dublin . He later lived in London .
Hogan worked in street and children's theater and read in schools and on Irish radio. In addition to plays, he wrote radio plays and novels. In 1976 he conducted a reading series in California . Another trip to the USA took place in 1978 . His plays have been performed at the Abbey Theater and Project Arts Center in Dublin .
