Detlef Kirchhoff (* 1941 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

After graduating from secondary school in 1958, Kirchhoff did an apprenticeship as a measurement and control mechanic and from 1961 to 1964 went to the Hennigsdorf Engineering School , where he became an engineer for heat technology. From 1968 to 1974 and from 1982 to 1984 he completed a distance learning course at the TU Dresden , where he graduated with a degree in high frequency technology and an engineer for environmental protection. From 1966 to 1986 Kirchhoff worked at the steel strip combine "Hermann Matern", today's EKO Stahl AG Eisenhüttenstadt / Arcelor , as an assistant, research assistant, laboratory manager for industrial hygiene, environmental protection officer and department head for environmental protection and industrial hygiene. From 1986 to 1990 he worked in the Eisenhüttenstadt city ​​administration , where he was city councilor for environmental protection, water management and energy. He was the deputy head of business development. Since 1985 he has also been a member of the Bund für Natur und Umwelt e. V.

In August 1990 Kirchhoff became a member of the CDU, where he was deputy chairman of the Oder-Spree district association . From 1990 to 1994 he sat in the first state parliament of Brandenburg . He was directly elected in the Eisenhüttenstadt constituency.
