The German Property Auctions AG (short DGA) is an auction house for private law property auctions in Germany and has its headquarters in Berlin . In accordance with the provisions of the Auctioneer Ordinance (VerstV), it auctions all types of real estate nationwide on behalf of private, commercial and public owners. In contrast to foreclosures, sales are not carried out on behalf of creditors, but exclusively on a voluntary basis on behalf of the owners.

Since going public in 1999, the group of companies has sold a total of more than 45,000 properties valued at over 2 billion euros (as of December 31, 2018).

history

The stock corporation was created in 1998 through the conversion of the Berliner Grundstücksauktionen Organisationsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. The predecessor company was founded in 1985 by the publicly appointed and sworn real estate auctioneer Hans-Peter Plettner. In June 1999 the company went public . The shares (ISIN DE0005533400) were initially traded over the counter on the Berlin stock exchange and later on other German stock exchanges. From April 2012, the security was part of the Entry Standard of Deutsche Börse AG . In March 2017, the share was included in the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange . The security is traded on Xetra and on all German stock exchanges including Tradegate.

The company is currently managed by Executive Board members Michael Plettner (Chairman) and Carsten Wohlers. Michael Siegmund (Chairman), Christian Ansorge and Manfred Krüger belong to the Supervisory Board.

Corporate structure

Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG has a share capital of 2.05 million euros, which is divided into 1,600,000 bearer shares. Approx. 40% of the shares are family-owned and 60% are in free float.

The largest real estate auction house in Germany has five wholly owned subsidiaries:

Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG reports in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and is exempt from the obligation to prepare consolidated financial statements and a group management report in accordance with Section 290 HGB. Profit transfer agreements exist with all subsidiaries. Therefore, the annual results of the group are shown in phase in the annual financial statements of the parent company.

Services

Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG and its subsidiaries auction real estate and land rights at public live auctions and on the Internet on behalf of third parties and on a purely voluntary basis.

The company works for private, commercial and public property owners, for example the Federal Republic of Germany , represented by the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA), Bodenverwertungs- und -verwaltungs GmbH (BVVG), Deutsche Bahn AG , TLG Immobilien AG and federal states, Cities and communes. In some cases, framework agreements of several years exist with consignors from the public sector.

In 2017, the auction houses of the DGA Group sold a total of 1,782 properties with a value of 116.6 million euros. This means an increase in sales of around 16 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The property turnover in 2016 was 100.3 million euros.
