German championships in track walking

German championships in track walking are German championships in athletics . From 1998 to 2011 the competitions were held with the main event of the German Championships . Since 2012, they have been taking place with the German Senior Championships in train walking , and the age group U23, sometimes also with U20 and younger.
The organizer is the German Athletics Association (DLV) in conjunction with a state and, if applicable, local organizer.
The athletes are rated according to their age group.
