The Deutsche Museums-Eisenbahn GmbH (DME) was a railway company (EVU) and a railway infrastructure company (EIU) u. a. responsible for the special trips of the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum and for the safe operation of the Darmstadt Ost – Bessunger Forsthaus railway line and the rail siding of the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum .
The DME operates the workshop in the railway museum and is responsible for the provision of personnel in the operational service.
