German republic
The following political structures (epochs of a state) in the Central European German-speaking area are referred to as the German Republic :
- Weimar Republic , "first German republic" (1918 / 19–1933)
- Bonn Republic , "Second German Republic" (1949–1990)
- Berlin Republic (since 1990)
