The German insurance press - magazine for the entire insurance industry was a traditional German insurance specialist magazine .

It appeared from 1872 to 1943. From 1927 it appeared with the supplements Die Transportversicherung, Rückversicherungs-Rundschau, Wirtschaftlicher Beobachter, Die Werbe-Praxis, Rechtsspiegel, Auslands-Assekuranz, Assekuranz-Feuilleton and Der Schaden-Korrespondent.

In 1943 it was merged with the Deutsches Versicherungs-Dienst, Neumanns Zeitschrift für Versicherungswesen, and with the Deutsche Versicherungs-Zeitung to form a joint edition entitled Deutsche Versicherung , which existed until 1944.
